Hey all, So I've recently disabled flash on my MBP, and use Chrome when I "need" to view something in flash. BUT... now I get an annoying message at the top of Firefox on any webpage with flash that reads "additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page" with a button to install said plugin. Obviously, I do NOT want to install flash... so I how do I tell FF to shut up about it?

By the by... without flash installed, my battery lasts WAYYY longer and my fans are not attempting liftoff.... very cool! (pun intended) :D

I don't think there is a way to disable that.

Aha! Look what I found in Firefox's about:config...

There's a setting called plugins.hide_infobar_for_missing_plugin which defaults to false. You want to change that to true.
