You're absolutely delusional.

The FACT is the laptop already is hugely popular and is going to be a big hit. Look through the threads, more than 2\3 want it or think it's great in every poll on here.

I suggest you reading this review, it gives a clear picture what Intel Core M processor is capable of: http://www.ultrabookreview.com/5123-asus-zenbook-ux305/.

I would rather call it an assumption and not a "FACT".

That's a weaker processor no? The base model on the rMB goes up to 2.4, the review said that one was capped at 2.0. I hope apple only charges 100 for the top processor. We will know soon enough.

Am very much in and out the "door" with the new MacBook. I certainly wont be buying one blind. Looking at the specification of the Core M (1.2) I don't believe computational performance will be shockingly bad as long as the thermal management`s adequate, equally as some have observed with Retina`s, pushing the display may be the greater issue. We will see soon enough once the real world reviews start rolling out with more than just Apple`s included applications onboard.

Absolutely an early adopter product, the performance wont be tragic. equally the new MacBook is likely to come over as lacklustre compared to the rest of the Mac lineup until the Tech catches up, which may prove frustrating for many as the Notebook is already here. Skylake is going to be significant for the MacBook, so waiting is a serious consideration, I can see Apple moving to the new platform as soon as is realistically possible...

lol... The processor in that Asus is a 5Y10...the slowest Core M there is. The new rMB uses the 5Y71...the fastest. Not a good comparison at all. To say nothing of the fact that Apple will likely do a better job optimizing than the Windows market can.

I would not "lol". The review deals - amongst others - with the limits (heating etc.) of Core M processors. It was just an analogy. (It is worth reading the full review. Interesting).

But what is more important is what Mcdevidr said: "We will know soon enough."
