Stopping High Sierra update pop-up

Really. Give it a break. I'm NOT upgrading to High Sierra. How do I shut off the popup?

I'm thinking their may be a setting there to stop it. but I'm not certain.

I suspect it is in System Preferences >> App Store

Uncheck "Automatically check for updates".

That should stop the system checking for updates and bugging you to update.

YMMV as always.

Control-Click (Right-click) in the High Sierra banner in App Store for High Sierra. Select Hide Update.
Next in System Preferences > App Store, uncheck Download newly available updates in the background.
