I suspect it is in System Preferences >> App Store Uncheck "Automatically check for updates". That should stop the system checking for updates and bugging you to update. YMMV as always. dianeoforegon macrumors 6502a Dec 31, 2017 #4 Control-Click (Right-click) in the High Sierra banner in App Store for High Sierra. Select Hide Update. Next in System Preferences > App Store, uncheck Download newly available updates in the background.
