I have wondered for a while, but in my iCloud storage summary it has categories for backups, docs, and photos listed. It lists that I am using 1.9 GB on “Docs,” but when I click “Manage Storage” besides the backups and photos there is only a few megabytes in things like Pages, Numbers, and a handful of other apps. I would really like to know where those 1.9 GB of “Docs” are coming from. I do not have Messages backed up on iCloud, and less than a megabyte on iCloud Drive.

It could be files from file managers in third-party apps on the iCloud Drive, but I've also found this discussion. One of the uesers states that it can be a server bug.
