This is actually mostly for music, I have a 11' 64GB MacBook Air and I can't for the life of me figure out how am I going to put or access my music from my computer.

This might be an easy fix for somebody but I am on a stump. I have a hard drive and AirPort Express if that helps any and maybe this is why we want iTunes to go cloud based but is there any solutions for me or do I need a computer with more memory space?

You could connect the HDD to the MB or a USB capable router to stream the content via your local network. I have a small SSD (60GB) and I carry an additional 2.5" HDD with me and it satisfies my needs for storage.

Btw, "memory" is used to refer to RAM, which is nowadays 2 to 8GB, sometimes more. "Storage capacity" or "space" is used when referred to a storage medium like an HDD or SSD.

Connect your external hard drive to MBA. Set your iTunes library on the external hard drive. Then whatever music you download from iTunes goes directly into the external drive, and you can play music from the iTunes.

    THIS^^^^^^

Also you can go to itunes preference menu, and go under advance, and uncheck the "keep itunes media folder organized" and "copy files to itunes media folder". That way you can store music on the air, and video on the external. That's what I do on my 128gb air. video on the external, music and podcast on the internal.
