Storage Full

I have the error message 'Storage is full' in able watch 4 +5 in AW4 there is only 1 app run-in and in AW5 there are 4 Apps running. Idid think at first it was Facebook + Facebook messenger running on my iPhone but since deleting then I have received the error message again. Now it looks as if its the background refresh rate so I've tuned it off.Will this stop me getting any alerts from my iPhone to my AW?

Do a factory reset then restore from the backup. This is the only way I’ve found to fix the issue on 2 watches.

Its in the watch app on the phone. Apple has step by step instructions if you need a walkthrough.
