Nope...The only thing showing is my other hard drive (which I partitioned into 3)...the white light is flashing on it too. Do I need to restart my computer or something?

No need to restart to get a new HDD recognised, but it would not hurt to try.

If that does not work, does the HDD have any other connections you can use to see if it works?

It works thru the usb 2.0 port but not thunderbolt. WTF!

I read reviews that this crap happened. I'm not going to lie...I'm definitely pissed.

And you have every right to be. Once the HDD is connected via Thunderbolt go to Applications / Utilities / System Profiler ( Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and earlier) or System Report ( Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and later) > Hardware > Thunderbolt and post/screenshoot what is listed there.

I read the manual and it says a blinking light means it has access (which it does thru Thunderbolt) but it's connected when it's a solid light (which it does thru usb).
