Storage space affected by folder sharing

Hi

If (A) shares an empty folder with (B) and both add files to that folder, which cloud space is being affected ?



also, if anyone deletes files out of that folder, is there any way to recover these? It would suck if someone deletes them and I loose instant access to them without even being notified That changes were made
