Hello, I have a Macbook Pro Mid 2014 model with 256 GB Flash storage (attached screenshot) running with Catalina and looking to upgrade my storage to 1 TB. I have done some research on the Internet and found about nVME and potential adapters to use regular pins.

Can someone, please suggest me the durable one with no issues - like I read in some posts some has reboot and sleep issues.

WD:WDS100T2X0C ($189), WDS100T3X0C($206) (newer model).
Samsung: 970 EVO SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe ($149)
OWC: Aura Pro X2 ($249) (No adapter needed)

Adapter: Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card ($16.99)

Thanks!

To answer your question, if I was going to do this I would go with the OWC Aura Pro, since I have heard of some issues trying to use adapters, and it's probably cheaper than trying to get an OEM one.

Thanks, I will keep this one also. Little pricey but may be worth than trying with connectors?
