I think, and I might be mistaken, that if you got more storage, you also got more memory and more active CPU Cores…

is there any difference from 512 GB and 1 TB?

Occasionally been true of iPad in the past, but not iPhone. And its not a relevant concern, which is why it isn't an advertised bullet point.

Storage and RAM is unaffected with iPhones. That's the one positive. The only difference between models will be storage read-write speeds. 1TB may have faster NVMe speeds.
