No, they should be WWDC, but Apple may just skip those chips and go to penryn with Leopard if it is out by then.

    It seems that either:

    a) new MBPs will be released now
    b) new MBPs will be released in June with Santa Rosa
    c) new MBPs will not be released till October/Leopard (which would be really gay)

Yep, FCS2. I checked Mac Pros to see if anything was updated - GPU ... and nothing was :(

    the oracle of apple

    My 2c ..

Expect Apple to ride the intel chipset curve.. Its too expensive for intel to design custom processors (from scratch) and too expensive for apple to design and stock up new machines with a refreshed look if they are not in sync with the CPU curve..

No MB or MBP today, expect Apple will have the first Santa Rosa boxes in May or June. (June if they don't have a big event planned for May or have other things to talk about).

Same thing with the mini and iMacs, expect them to ride the CPU wave but not necessarily Santa Rosa, that's too laptop specific. Perhaps lower end, low power desktop CPU with virtualization..

By moving to Intel, Apple gave the world a big lens into its operations.. And so Apple being Apple, I expect that they will have other stuff up their sleeve to keep the RDF wagon running smoothly..
