Store pickup

How long does Apple hold the store pickup . Do they give it away if not we not show up on the same day ? How does it work?

Store pick up is held for that day only.

Anyone know when stores refresh their stock for reservations tomorrow morning?

If you already paid for it and choose in-store pick up, they hold it for 21 days. Now if it's a walk-in reservation then only that day.

They will hold it for 21 days, my iPhone X pickup order which I didn't pickup today now says "Please pick up your items by November 24, 2017"

When I asked that question last year, the Apple Store told me that stock is scanned in after store closing and will show up in the app that night or around 8am the next day. That is how I was able to find a Matte Black 7 Plus. Not sure if that's still the way they do things though.

That sounds about right. I managed to snag a phone a few years ago but I forget the whole restock timeline.
