Montreal's Apple Store doesn't have them and they don't know when they'll receive them. I've heard Thursday/Friday latest.

I'm confused, how can they say thursday/friday if they don't know when they'll receive them ?

Likely their next shipment will be Thursday (like the Apple store here), which means they'll either be set up Thursday or Friday.
