Stored Movies on iTunes/AppleTv

Is there anyway to have the trailer next to the movie? or the option to play the trailer before the movie?

If you bought the movie in iTunes, or have the iTunes digital copy from a BluRay, you can do this.
Click on the Movies button and find your movie. It will give you the option to watch the trailer. If you've bought the movie, you'll see a "Play" button beside the trailer instead of the purchase price.

I am trying to do this at the movies I have rip myself.

I use aimersoft video converter ultimate. It lets me combine files on the dvd into one .mv4, although I prefer not to have the trailers with the movie.
