stores?

NYC store

will be at the corner of prince and greene sts according to this:

and yeah, it's the old restoration hardware.

every time i'm down in that area i forget which streets so i haven't gotten to check it out. if i do, i'll see if there's anything to report... though from what i hear it's a ways from being ready.. of course construction is a funny thing. it can go from 2 years of doing nothing to 1 month of finishing the whole thing.
 
new Apple Jobs available at these locations!

I found it interesting to find an Apple job agent back in my email this morning...

apparently Apple is getting ready to add more stores to it's roster:

Wellington Green, FL
Peabody-Northshore Mall, MA
Short Hills, NJ
Atlanta, GA
White Plains, NY
Towson, MD

Atlanta is can see, its a large city, but again, another in NY but not in the city. I know they're looking in soho, but there's not been any real movement on that. And another one in Florida, that's weird.

I'd love to know how they make their decissions on picking new locations.

There already is one in Peabody at the Northshore Mall (in MA). Maybe they are just looking for more help, or to replace some people.

hmm...I think u are right....I was more surprised at the fact that I had search agent results...it's been how many months since I've gotten those?! :confused:
 
Hey eyelikeart, do you have a date stamp on that email??? Just wondering when it actually went out to you. I have known email's to arrive with date stamps that are a month or more old.

You'll have to let us know what happens when you reach 2000 posts too... :D I am getting close to the 1000 mark now :D

You think something's going to happen at 2k? If he wasn't a demi-god, it might be a different processor. Can't imagine there being anything else. You could always ask Arn.

That would be pretty cool... get to that 2000 mark, and you get 2x the avatar size allocation. Not bad.

I will be changing mine soon. I just need to take some photo's of the new bike and trim them down (via Photoshop) and upload them. Might be able to do that over the weekend, depends on the weather. I won't do it in the rain.

You should play around with perspective, make a really interesting shot. Low to the ground by the front, or just the tailpipes. That could be pretty cool, I look forward to seeing it.

Or you can animate the wheels, make it look like its moving. Or do that with a picture of you on the bike too. Tons of options. Have fun.
 
Pipe side is usually the one you take pictures of, since it is usually more interesting. I will take some shots and go through them. I can then scan it into my system, when my TiBook returns (next week now :( ). I just hope that it is better then before, and maybe newer too (fingers crossed).

And what would you do with 4 avatars? Your current one is a little retro - OS7ish, interesting choice. I'd be curious to see a comp of your 4 avatars.

How about just a second one... that way you could have a pair of eyes... :D

Maybe get one for every thousand posts after that.
 
since X's icons look so much more killer...I've resorted to 128 much more than 32 bit icons....but retro I do like....I thought this eye was kinda cool....

2 would be cool...I could have a pair...but I've been wanting to do something a bit different...he he he
