I've been rummaging through my parents fairly epic record collection and spotted a few nifty albums. Only we don't really have anything to play them on these days. Got me wondering and plotting about buying new, sealed audio and video playback devices and keeping them and their media for future use. Just basic things like a cheap £20 DVD player. I even have my old video games machines stored in a safe place.

When I was a kid I used to play with my dads old toys (mostly James Bond toy cars 😛) so I'd like to be able to bring a slice of my childhood and history over and show my future children and grandchildren. If they are anything like me they'd go mad for this kind of stuff.

Anyone else this mad?

Naw, may be worthwhile.

If you can afford to do so, do it! 😛

Who knows, it also may be worth a small fortune down the road.
