I have an interesting bug that I can't seem to tie to anything. A month ago, I changed out my old Asus WiFi for a new Unifi setup. Works great, but seemingly since then when I go to Apple News (iPhone 15 pro) almost every time I get a message "Poor Internet connection" and the news load stops. Eventually, the message will go away and I will get the rest of the news, although often a few minutes later it might post it again. At the time of the message, a speed test will give great throughput from the 'Net. Never less than 30mb down. Everything else works at full speed - browsing, podcasts, email and message attachments, even with big file pictures.
Didn't bother with it until a friend came over and got the exact same message. So, it had to be the new WiFi setup. But in an hour or so of checking the paramaters found nothing that stuck out.
Again, left it alone.
Then, I went to the local University for a seminar and while sitting in the student center, went to Apple news and got the same Poor Connection message. WTH? That place has a humongous download speed that pegs the test meters and I didn't even bother to check it. WiFi was full bars at both places.
So...
Two different iPhones and two different locations with good connectivity and both giving a Poor Internet connection and only while using Apple news.
Beats me.
