Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this. I'm getting strange audio glitches whilst watching/listening to anything in a browser (i.e. iplayer, youtube etc...).

It's a bit difficult to explain, but the best way I can describe it is like the sound either jumps or winds back a split second and then continues normally. This seems to happen randomly.

Initially I thought it was a browser issues, but it's happening in Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

I've looked in the process explorer to check in case CPU/HD usage is spiking but can't see anything.

At the moment I did not have that problem, I think you could technically try to install Windows (with bootcamp) and check if it happens there too.
I suggest that option since reinstalling the system to verify an error is too much, although I can't think of other alternatives in OS X.
