Hi,

I am running OC/Monterey on a Mac Pro 5,1. I have no Bluetooth devices. I see that Bluetooth is enabled and decide to disable it. however, if I try I get the following Alert:

And is doesn't turn off! Yet I have no Bluetooth devices "controlling" my computer!

I wondering if this is due to OpenCore?

All the Best
Dave

This message appears to warn you if you turn off BT and don't have a wired keyboard and mouse connected, you won't be able to control your Mac. I assume you have a wired keyboard and mouse connected, so open Bluetooth preferences and see if you have a BT mouse and/or keyboard paired to your Mac. If so, delete them. Then try to turn off BT. You can always re-pair the mouse/keyboard. But.... be sure you have a wired keyboard and mouse before you do this.

I have a wired Apple keyboard and Wireless mouse (non Apple) with a 2.4 GHz dongle which is plugged into the keyboard. I checked the Bluetooth preferences and it doesn't show any paired devices:

try a deep nvram reset, hold cmd-alt-p-r without pause until the box chimes 3 times, or the chime gets louder.

Be prepared to re-bless OpenCore, after.

Tried the deep reset but it still won't turn Bluetooth off, same message about controlling my computer. This is the Standard Apple Bluetooth, I'm not using a PCI card or anything like that
