Strange camera roll problem

I saved some images of some shoes I've purchased to my camera roll today, and tbe images have appeared overlaying some other images that I had previously deleted. Anyone know what's happening here?

It is a known bug in various iterations of iOS which shows the last deleted photos when a photo contains alpha transparency.

I have owned a few iPhones and never saw this bug. If its a known bug in many iterations of iOS, why hasn't it been fixed?
