Hi, some parts of my Mail and Address book are corrupt, the text of some labels are being displayed as strange alien characters, not chinese... I don't know how it became like this, but I installed some chinese fonts in Fontxplorer X, but now I have removed them, and the problem persist. To make it more sense I have a screenshot here:

I have updated everything to the latest versions.

Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

Oh I forgot to mention: a few days ago: I deleted a lot of fonts (from within Fontxplorer X) I didn't like. Could I have accidentally removed system fonts?

No one knows the answer... 🙁 Well, what about this... after I have search to the forums for OS X reinstall topics, I still have a question:

I want to reinstall OS X on top of the current. Will my files/settings be intact? Lets say I don't choose the option to wipe all... I haven't done this before, only clean installs. But I don't have an external drive right now, and in kinda hurry to get the problem fixed.
