Strange error upon waking from sleep

I keep getting this strange error sometimes when I wake my MacBook Pro up from sleep.

This computer's local hostname "name-2.local" is already in use on this network. The name has been changed to "name-3.local." (To change the local hostname, open System Preferences and click Sharing, then click "Edit" and OK.)

This is the only Mac I have, so I'm not sure what this warning means or why this keeps happening. Any ideas?
