strange imovie problem

well i need some quick imovie help...
For some reason when i fire up imovie the icon appears in the dock and in the menu bar but the actual program window/viewer will NOT show up, I have restarted... it my actually project files are still there.. I have no idea what is going on... any help? or ideas on how to fix?

Have you tried clicking new project or page set up under File to see what happens?

thanks... Anyone else out there have any ideas... i tried to restore Imovie from time machine.. still nothing!!!...please help i have a project that is due tomorrow....

Maybe you have a corrupt file like the thread titled Preview App not working in this forum. Do at your own risk but worth a shot to check it out. You can always put file back in.
