Hey all,

I have a slight annoyance with iTunes that keeps happening. While open, i will get a message that says "The movie file [insert movie title] cannot be played because it cannot be found."

I have two options, i can either search for it, or I can hit cancel. If I hit cancel, it just does the same thing again a little while later, and If i hit Search it tries to search but it doesnt come up with anything (duh) cause the file cannot be found. Sounds redundant I know.

Anyone have any ideas of what to do to get this annoying message to go away?

Oh yeah, also this is the new iTunes, not V. 6. The problem has only occured with v. 7.

Thanks in advance.

can you give more info on the specs of the file? is it an ipod compatible movie file?

do you have "Copy files to iTunes Music Folder when adding" checked?

how did the movie get added to itunes? did you purchase it?

was it a movie file located in ~/movies?
