I just found something which I consider to be slightly alarming regarding the iTunes Store.

Yesterday I cancelled my debit card as I lost it (found it 5 minutes later, typical). Anyway today I was on iTunes and it said that my account needed updating as my card details where not correct!

Is this normal, do Apple check your card details every-so-often?

Hm, that is odd. I've not heard that they do that, but it wouldn't surprise me. A bit ... suspicious, though.
