Last night I installed snow leopard from scratch instead of just updating 10.5.
Everything went off with out any problems. Prior to the install, I saved everything I wanted to keep to an external hard drive, including all the website files from my latest iweb creation. I can access the drive and all the files are present, intact and functional. My only hiccup is since iweb cant sync in reverse I need get my back up files back into iweb. Any help is appreciated.

The iWeb file for the site is located at ~/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.sites2

You should be able to copy that file to the new drive as long as it was using the same version of iWeb.

I installed Snow Leopard from scratch on my daughter's machine - iLife wasn't included - had to buy it. Glad you were able to save yours.
