Strange looking login-screen on MBP

I have a MBP early 2011, with third party ram and ssd.

Today when I rebooted my computer the login screen looked quite strange.

Rebooted again and the problem did not appear. Anyone has any ideas of why this happened?

Early signs of graphics card failure.

This could have been caused by a 'glitch' when the graphics drivers were loaded into memory on that particular boot. It may never happen again. It does not necessarily mean the graphics card is failing.
