strange mouse problem QS

It is hard to use the mouse as the menu window is open like using a mouse with 2 buttons and it stays on the right click the whole time.

It happens with an apple or other mouse.

any ideas? Its a pain to use currently and driving me nuts.

sounds like one of your control keys are stuck down as that initiates the right click in the mac system software.

Also the keyboard is the same as the one I use on my pmg5 and there isn't any problems there.

could it be software or a usb port malfunctioning?

Try holding down the control key at the same time while clicking and see if that works. If so, the OS has the mouse buttons reversed. Go to system preferences, and then mouse to turn it back to normal.

using the control and click is normal yet I still get the problem but there are periods where its fine and then go back to the problem with the menu.
