    Hi all,

I'm getting a strange permissions issue in Leopard, and it is not the various "ACL" warnings that come up.

What I am getting is that the permissions on /Library/Preferences have been changed from their original permissions, and it seems to re-occur. I had recently installed Stuffit Expander on the computer and that's when the issue seemed to crop up (but I'm not entirely sure if it's Stuffit or something else), should I try removing Stuffit or do an Archive and Install on the system and stay the hell away from Stuffit in the future?

    Thanks for your help.

Yes, Pixelmator and a few other programs are crashing and it's driving me batty.
