I've never had this problem with my iPhone. Just got an iPad 2 and noticed an odd thing when playing video podcasts.

The default view will list episodes of any particular podcast in chronological order. Once I play one of them, the iPad will continue with subsequent podcasts and just play the next one after the previous finishes. Here's where it gets strange. After playing the "oldest" podcast first, the iPad will then play the next one in *alphabetical* order, and not the next one in chronological order. Which is strange because I started the process from a chronological list of episodes.

This never happened on my iPhone, and I haven't been able to find any settings that would explain it. Anyone have any ideas?

The suggestion to assign track numbers to the podcasts worked. That was never necessary on my iPhone 3G though, and a manual process is never ideal. But it worked, so thanks.
