I'm running the latest 11.5 beta but not convinced if it's an issue with that or not. When I view a webpage with a video on, or open the Photos app, the whole screen dims. The brightness controls don't lower automatically, it's like it's something at system level. The only way to restore the previous brightness, is to close the webpage with the video or minimise the Photos app (whichever triggered it). It's really strange, and annoying. Any ideas?

Here's a video of it happening:

It's connected to an M1 MacBook Pro. I don't know what profile it's running as oddly the dialog is missing the dropdown for it:

I'd recommend submitting this video to Apple via the feedback assistant app. Also, it wouldn't hurt to show them that the profiles are not present for the XDR in the Beta.

Thanks, will do. I've never had good experience in the past with giving feedback to Apple but perhaps they'll pay more attention given it's their flagship display and latest M1 MBP 🤞
