So I stupidly accidentally threw my MBP across the room last week, and the screen cracked. I got a replacement screen, installed it, but there's a problem when starting up the computer. First of all, the resolution is very low (large apple logo on startup). And during startup, that spinning wheel at the bottom freezes after about 30 seconds and some weird things appear (photo attached). Then booting stops and I just have to hard shutdown. Could someone shed some light on what I might try or which connection might have come loose?

Update: I put the cracked screen back in to see if the problem persists. And guess what. Nope, it works fine (besides the screen being broken). I think the company might've sent me the wrong screen... Sigh...

I was in Scotland visiting a friend doing a study abroad, and let's just say alcohol was involved... :(
