Strange Problem: Camera Not Recognized

As of yesterday, I've been having some strange problems with my Samsung NV10 camera. When I plug it in to import my photos, it shows up as a standard drive in the Finder, but is not recognized by either iPhoto or Image Capture.

I can still go into the camera manually and grab the images off of its memory, but I'm wondering why it is not recognized as a camera by either the Finder, iPhoto, or Image Capture.

Any suggestions?
