Hey all, I have an iMac and it has been great so far but now for no apparent reason when I try to sign into AOL or even check Gmail, the pages simply will not load. The internet works perfect otherwise and I can sign in on my sons PC. This has been going on for about 4 days now. Can anyone help me?

Thanks,
Susan

You'll need to provide more information. Are both of these computers hooked into a router or switch? How is the Mac configured - DHCP through the router?

Without any data, I'd suggest that it could be a DNS issue. I find that specifying known good DNS servers are the primary or secondary DNS is usually far better than relying on my ISP's DNS alone.

Wow! I don't know what any of that means. Our computers are on a router...I'll have to wait until one of my sons wakes up to translate.
