Hello everyone,

I made this account to post my problem, because I didn't know where to look, since there aren't any Authorized Service Provider's in my area (I'm from Belgium, there's not even an official apple store here).

Today I plugged in my iPod Touch 5th gen in school, because I was helping with the setup of a party in zdhool and my teacher asked if anyone could play some music via AUX. I said that I had an iPod with me and connected it to the mixer. I already had my song ready on my screen, but when te speakers were turned on, my iPod turned off. Also, it was getting really hot. Since then, my iPod doesn't do anything anymore: It doesn't go on, pressing the lock button, or connecting to my MacBook; nothing works.

If none of you know what's going on, I will write apple a letter and tell them what happened.

I really hope someone can help me out, because I paid my iPod myself and I really want it to work again.

Thanks in advance!

Did you let it charge? i had a problem, my ipod wouldnt turn on and showed a squirly page. After like 3 days of charging it worked. I hope it works!

im not sure but maybe it has to do with the current voltage difference when you plug it in to the aux and it could fry up the main board.

maybe i was wrong.
