    Hey guys,

Here's something strange that's been happening to me recently:

When selecting to type in any sort of Japanese input (hiragana, katakana, etc), programs will start to close by themselves. I'll just be typing away and suddenly, every program I have open, closes, including the one I'm using to type in. Upon re-opening these programs, while back in English character input, they give the "unexpectedly closed" message.

This only appears to happen with Japanese at the moment as I can switch to German input with no problems.

Has anyone else witnessed this, and have you been able to solve it?
    Thanks.

I've used a Mac Mini PPC with Japanese input and have not had any trouble. Are you using an assigned key configuration to switch to Japanese input mode?

Nope. I'm clicking the "Input Menu" icon on the top menu bar and selecting them from there.
