Anyone experiencing this strange issue where the volume slider moves back up after sliding down, or vise versa when sliding up, on its own after sliding it fast? It happens maybe a third of the time for me. I was confused when I would move the slider all the way down and then later noticed it wasn’t where I had it.

I’ve included a video of this happening.

It was happening on my 14P on 17.0.1 and on my new 15P on 17.0.2.

My 13PM would randomly mute itself, it would also mute the volume when opening the control center. A restart helped, but it does still randomly reduce volume to 0.

Since updating I have been having a similar issue when AirPlaying to my LG SP8YA Sound Bar. The volume on the sound bar is set to 20/40 (50%) but for some reason it shows as being at 12 or so on the Music app.

Have you reported this to Apple? I'm still using iOS 16.2 on iPhone 14 Pro Max so if it is indeed a bug, it may get fixed in iOS 17.0.3 or 17.1 whichever Apple releases first to the general public...
