So today I dropped my iPhone 3GS in a puddle and it was completely submerged for a few seconds. It was working fine except that the message that it couldn't sync with the device (like if you plug it into iPod speakers) kept popping up.

I brought it home and removed the SIM card and put it in a bowl of rice. I just tried putting the SIM card back in and it was very hard to pop back in but I got it in. I turned the phone on, everything was working fine, except for a little white dot that popped up on the screen about where the SIM card would be behind it. When I removed the SIM card the white dot was gone. When I was putting the SIM card back in initially it was really difficult and I thought I was going to break it.

Anyone have any clue?
