So I just switched from Sprint to ATT on Tuesday because I was tired of the low data speeds. I consistently got from .2 to .5 mbps. One time I did get over 1 mbps. I know that is not as bad as many people are reporting but I thought I could do much better on ATT. Well . . . now I can't connect at all in my house. Or really within a 7 block radius of my house even though on the ATT coverage map I am in the Best area. I've been checking Speedtest in other parts of town and I've gotten 1 - 3.5 mbps for the most part, which is great. I don't understand why my data sucks so much around my house. And here is my real question. When I start Speedtest it says looking for a server, but it always defaults to a server in CA (I'm in Kansas City, MO). I have to manually go in and find a server closer to me. I've never had this happen to me before I don't think. I'm wondering if something is wrong with the network around me. Any thoughts?
