Strap order returned to Processing - WTH

Same thing happened to me with 2 different bands, went back to processing this afternoon from preparing for shipping this morning and yesterday.
They already extracted the funds from my apple gift card so I hope that is a good sign.

If you're in the U.S. you can check your local Apple Store. They just started having sport bands in stock, in-store!

Same here. White sport band, went to preparing to ship yesterday, was still in preparing to ship this morning, then went back to processing.
Even Apple can't be perfect. I'd say that despite the many bugs, annoyances and issues with the purchase and delivery experience, by this time next year they should have things sorted out. It's not easy with the volume of products they sell.
Besides if they spent money to overcome the problems their bottom line would suffer. In addition they've got to be happy to do their best, nothing upsets Apple more than spending money. Their supporters know that and are very careful not to upset Apple. As long as Apple reads about people praising them, that keeps their ego healthy.

Band Order PFS back to Processing
2 days ago I was charged for a Leather Loop and WSB that I ordered and online it changed to Preparing for Shipment. It stayed this way even through this AM. I get on just now to check if theres any change and yup, it changed back to Processing?!?!
Has anyone else had this happen? Frustrating as I thought for sure they were on their way. Also still shows 2-3 weeks for shipping, but if you go to order one online it show 1-2 weeks. Ugh.

This morning I woke up to the headline that Apple had bands in stock at selected stores and I was immediately annoyed because I had ordered the black leather loop on May 10th and it wasn't due to ship until the first week of June. I was relieved after I checked my order status and it had changed to Preparing for shipment. I just got home now and checked again to see if there were any updates and now it's back to processing and says available to ship in 2-3 weeks.
To make matters more annoying, when I look at the same band on the store to order one now , it says shipping in 1-2 weeks! What is going on with Apple's inventory system!?

One more "me too" to add. My extra white sport band went to Preparing yesterday morning and my debit card was charged, then went back to Processing this evening. Super bummed, I was excited and hoping to get it tomorrow.

My black leather loop order changed from processing to preparing for shipment this morning, and now it's back to processing again tonight, and the order says shipping in 2-3 weeks which it has said for a week now.
When I look at the bands on the store site now, the same band says ships in 1-2 weeks! WTH Apple!!?

Same thing happened to my sport band as well. Got charged and PFS yesterday, fell back to Processing Items this afternoon when I checked. Went to the Apple Store in the evening, got my band, cancelled online order. I feel happy now.

Mine was supposed to be delivered today. Delivery company is OnTrac? I've never heard of them, anyways. I get the email saying I'll receive it by end of day on the 21st. I get home, no package. I check the tracking website. It says redeliver next business day. They left no note, or anything saying an attempt was made to deliver. The Apple site says no signature required for the package. So I don't know why the package wasn't left at my door. It also says my package is located at corporate of OnTrac...I don't know. I've tried contacting OnTrac so far nothing... I better get it tomorrow.
