Stream audi to hearing aids.

Please move to right area if inappropriate.
I have a 2024 15" MacBook Air and am trying to stream Audi from it to my NHS Danalogic bluetooth hearing aids but no success so far.
Do I need an App or something please?
Any help will be appreciated.
I'd also like to stream from my iPhone 12 mini??

For iOS, according to their guide https://www.danalogic.co.uk/connectivity
you have to install an app if you have a "danalogic Ambio device":

For "danalogic Ambio Smart & Actio devices" you can directly pair it.
But not via the Bluetooth menu but "Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices"

Not sure how that translates to your Mac.
 
Thanks for all the amazing advice. My computer just doesn't pick up the hearing aids via "Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices", can't find them for some reason and they're sitting on the table next to it???
I have the BeMore App on my iPhone and it controls the aids OK but can't even stream audio from the phone?
 
You generally have to restart the hearing aids when close to the phone and the Bluetooth settings app open.
 
I have no problem connecting the aids to the BeMore app on my phone and can control the aids but can't see how to listen to the phone through the aids.
I have a small box connected to my TV and can listen to the TV through my phones.
Last night I wanted to listen to the Game (wife didn't want it) so ended up using earphones!
 
I'm not sure if it is the same for your hearing aids but Ive helped a friend with connecting his hearing aids to his iPhone and 2015 MacBook Air. With both devices, he put the hearing aids into pairing mode and used the Bluetooth function in the settings menu. Did not have to use any of the accessibility features or settings.
 
Nothing seems to work other than the BeMore App on my phone from which I control my hearing aids.
On my MacBook Air neither the Bluetooth search or the Accessibility search finds my hearing aids in pairing mode.
I've emailed Danalogic UK.
 
I have received a reply from my hearing aid manufacturer and they advise:
"While your hearing aids have Bluetooth and work well with the BeMore App on your iPhone, they cannot directly connect to other Bluetooth devices like your Samsung Smart TV or MacBook Air. The Bluetooth in your hearing aids is designed for use with smartphones and specific accessories.
To stream audio from your TV or computer to your hearing aids, you will need a compatible streamer. This device will act as a bridge, enabling you to hear audio directly through your hearing aids."
And these "streamers" are very expensive so back to good old earphones!!

That is for Made for iPhone hearing aids, and only works with certain aids; those marked with an asterisk in this article.
