I haven't had any crashes with the and it's playing the local channels just fine so far.
well in the UK i only get UK channels, no american ones, but none play on my ipad, just my iphone. no idea how you get american ones

nope, i tested it on my mates ipad too, doesn't work on there either, tried it through atomic and still nope.
works on the iPhone 4 though.
nice to see you were useful with that post.... how is it user related when you just go to the site and click the channel? it's an issue with the site.

seems to work fine in Canada, both on iPad and iPhone 3GS. I can see regular US network channels (I'm guessing these won't be up for long!) plus a bunch of ones that look like they're from the UK.
sometimes after selecting a channel I see just the spinning wheel and nothing loads, but other times things load and play fine. I'm guessing it might be due to server load?

Not rubbish for me and since I don't own an iPhone, I'm only using my iPad. I did see a problem today when I didn't have a fast/strong wifi connection. It played what was buffered, then stopped. It started playing fine again when I had a better connection.
However, I don't know why it's not working for you.

well it's rubbish for me and my 8 friends with iPads that it doesn't work on. most of us are right next to the routers and have fast connections, so it's not our end. i've been trying this for a week now and no joy.

The channels all load for me (here in the UK), sometimes they take a minute to load, I'm only on slow broadband so I don't think speed has much to do with whether it will work for you.
There's a bit of pixellation going on but overall it's better quality than tvcatchup, though still at a much lower bitrate than the iplayer stuff.

I just tried it in Atomic browser and it didn't work for me until I changed channels. It works better for me in Safari and iCab.
I hope you can find a solution so you can watch it on your iPad.
