HomePod stream spotify in stereo to HomePod from MacBook Pro

I own a pair of homepods for a couple of months now and I used to stream my Spotify from my iPad Pro in stereo. I just bought a new MacBook Pro yesterday and I want to stream Spotify from my MacBook pro now. but I can't find out how. I can only select one separate HomePod and no stereo speakers. the only way I can do this is through iTunes. I even installed Mojave to see if it was possible. but I can't see how. can someone pleas help me with this?

I can, it's currently not supported, not even on the latest Mojave build.
