Though it mostly can’t be bigger than 60GB to 70GB in size per a 1 hour and 30 mins to 2 hour movie. I just wish it was possible to do reliably while ridding in a car. Not going to happen though not even on 5G I don’t think :(

You have to be sitting down somewhere not moving and in a decent spot with pretty good cellular data speeds.

I know I know what is the point of this?

I guess my point is if I knew how make apps I would try to figure out a way to buffer extra video for backup so it would be useful when in a car if cellular signal becomes weak or speeds drop a lot so their is no or hardly any buffering when streaming original quality 4K video while moving in a car.

I copy mine either to the iPad or a USB-C SSD. Cellular signal when moving in a vehicle is too unreliable.
Wouldn’t it be cool though if it was still possible though without doing that?

As long as you have an LTE iPad (I don't) and unlimited data plan (I do). But I travel a lot to places where cell coverage and Internet access are sketchy or non-existent so I don't count on either - what data I want access to I take with me.

I’m a bit of a media purist and have lots of Blu-ray’s and ripped some into ISO’s. I stream them to the aTV 4K through infuse no problem. But I’m wondering why you would want to put your network chips through such load on an ipad? the bit depth isn’t as noticeable on the smaller screen compared to a home theater, and further to that one of the main reasons to run traditional media: audio. You won’t be able to hear a difference listening on any device unless you’re wired into a home theater 5.1 system. But if you’re mobile you’re probably listening on buds or BT headphones.

I’m with you man, just confused why you’d go through the trouble lol
