I can stream from sites on my PC, Android, FireTV .... however, I can not stream from the same sites from my iPad.
Why does Apple control what we stream, and is there something to change or install to be able to stream from a website on an iPad?
There are many, but one is sportsstats.xyz
At this time, yes, I am inquiring why the sports streaming plays on the Android, PC and FireTV Devices, but not the iPad.
I assume Apple is blocking it through Safari?
I could not say what there running for a server?
Maybe try a different browser to see if that helps. It may just be something that Safari struggles with.
Yeah, I as well tried Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Puffin ... all a no go on the iPad. (It is an older iPad, I think the Retina one, maxed out at iOS 10.3.3 ))
On my Mac High Sierra, those links play just fine through Safari ... ????
BTW, this is a great way to view all your major sports league games, live .. 🙂 (sign up for Discord, its free, then join the Sports Stream server ... enjoy...🙂)
Ill keep searching for an iPad issue, as its nice to know its not Apple, but an iPad issue.
Its probably the lack of being able to update this device .... Apples way of discontinuing updates on devices when they reach usually there 5 year age is real crappy .... They want you to buy another newer device ..... heck, you can put win 10 on any unit as long as it has the necessary hardware.
A 29.00 FireTV Stick can stream these sites flawlessly ... lol, but this 700.00 (new) iPad cant, .... what, six years old?
At least you usually get updates and security fixes for that timeframe. That’s not the case for most other tablet computers out there.
Since the technology has reached a peak and Apple is focused more on services it’s reasonable to expect the use times of these devices to become longer and longer. We shall see what the future brings!
Have you tried updating to 10.3.4?It is an older iPad, I think the Retina one, maxed out at iOS 10.3.3
