If your MM(Late 2012) HD is not working can you still stream movies via the Internet?

How are you going to boot it, if the drive isn't working?

Get an external USB SSD if possible or HDD and do a repair and make that the boot disk.

That's right as the MacOS in loaded on the HD. I am not thinking too straight today!!
