Hi all. I'm a new mac switcher and I am having problems streaming videos off the internet. I usually like to check vidoes on launch.yahoo.com. But, when I try to click on a video it gives me an error and tells me that I need netscape 7.4x for mac. Can anyone help on getting these videos to work?

It appears that Yahoo want you to play the videos using there own media player (I assume for copyright protection purposes). It looks as though the only Mac player they provide is for OS9 😡

Have you had a look at the itunes music store (USA) video selection, not too shabby.

Happens to me with FireFox too. PC and Mac. Here's why.

Not supported by LAUNCH:

* Netscape Navigator 5.6 and 6.0 or higher for PC or Mac
* Mac OS X
You can try e-mailing them, but I'd suggest just looking for another service to get your videos from. Or get Virtual PC, which may come in handy anyway. But Yahoo! has been pissing me off more and more, so I find myself looking to alternatives. Google, Zap2itTV, Mapquest, IMDB, iTunes music videos... there's better out there.
