I need to know what h/w and s/w I need to encode video streams for play on iOS devices since they don't support flash! Thanks-

You really need to be allot more specific...what application? What kind of video source? Resolution? In general H.264 compression at under 30fps is what is recommended. Additionally resolution 1280x720 and under is a solid choice. 1920 is nice but is overkill and Apple doesn't really support it at all; though I do have some apps that will stream 1920x1080 to my iPhone its pretty slow though...
