I recently upgraded to 10.5.8 and basically I love it. HOWEVER, streaming video was much, much better for me using 10.4. YouTube videos USED to play flawlessly, now they look like a slideshow of still pictures.... I have an older Mac, a flat panel iMac G4. What can I do to get better quality?

Have you made sure that you are on the latest version of flash, and do you have enough memory? Every subsequent version of MacOS X has used more memory (optimizing for speed by using more memory), and you might have tripped over the point where things slow down.

I believe you're right. I've gone past the point. What I'd like to do is, leave the OS as is and go back to a prior version of Flash that played better. Is that possible?
