Streaming Videos from oMac

Hopefully thisis in the right section.
I have some guitar videos that I would like to watch on the tv. Can i stream them thru my ATV3 and AirPlay to the TV. Or, do I do something else?

AirPlay should work fine.

Alternatively you can add them to iTunes and utilize home sharing on the AppleTV(this method will allow you to manage the playback options from the AppleTV rather than the source device).
